Will it tell patients what's wrong?
Never. It takes their description in their own words and leaves the assessment to you.
Can it ask for insurance details?
It asks which insurer and whether they have an authorisation code, and notes it. It never takes card details.
I share a clinic room with others. Can we each have our own number?
Yes, each practitioner can have their own Hello Anytime number and greeting, or share one on Hello Anytime Pro with a shared diary.
Do I keep my number?
Yes. Customers keep ringing your usual number. You forward only the calls you miss to a Hello Anytime number we give you, which your customers never need to know.
When does Hello Anytime answer?
Your phone rings first. If you don't pick up within about 20 seconds, the call goes to Hello Anytime. On a mobile the divert code is **61*your Hello Anytime number**20#, and you can change the 20 to 5, 10, 15, 25 or 30 seconds. You can also send every call straight to Hello Anytime, for example at night, and switch it back with a short code.
What about a landline?
Mobiles use one short code. Landlines divert differently depending on your provider, and some (like BT) may charge for it. We'll help you set it up.
