Will it promise grades?
Never. It takes the details and says you'll talk through how you can help.
Can it take bookings for a tuition centre with several tutors?
Yes. On Hello Anytime Pro up to 5 people share one diary, and each enquiry can be given to the right tutor.
Is it OK to collect children's details?
Hello Anytime only asks for the first name and school year, and speaks with the parent or carer. Calls are recorded, and callers are told at the start.
Do I keep my number?
Yes. Customers keep ringing your usual number. You forward only the calls you miss to a Hello Anytime number we give you, which your customers never need to know.
When does Hello Anytime answer?
Your phone rings first. If you don't pick up within about 20 seconds, the call goes to Hello Anytime. On a mobile the divert code is **61*your Hello Anytime number**20#, and you can change the 20 to 5, 10, 15, 25 or 30 seconds. You can also send every call straight to Hello Anytime, for example at night, and switch it back with a short code.
What about a landline?
Mobiles use one short code. Landlines divert differently depending on your provider, and some (like BT) may charge for it. We'll help you set it up.
