Example call to Ashworth & Kaur Solicitorsabout 1 min
Hi, you've reached Ashworth and Kaur Solicitors. I'm the firm's AI assistant, and this call is recorded. How can I help?
My landlord's trying to keep my whole deposit. Can I take him to court?
I'm sorry you're dealing with that. I can't give legal advice, but I can take the details for a solicitor. What's your full name?
Daniel Mensah.
Thanks Daniel. And your landlord's name, so the firm can do a quick conflict check?
Peter Graham. I moved out three weeks ago.
Thank you. Is there any deadline or court date coming up? Simran will call you back by 4 this afternoon.

The problem

People looking for a solicitor ring several firms. The first one that answers properly usually gets the instruction.

Never gives legal advice

Hello Anytime is clear it can't advise, never comments on chances or costs, and never confirms who the firm acts for.

Conflict check details up front

The other party's name is in every summary, so you can check conflicts before you call back.

Urgent matters flagged

Police station calls, court dates this week, injunctions and completions today are marked urgent with an alert to you.

What Hello Anytime asks your callers

The questions you'd ask, every time.

You can change these in the app. Hello Anytime asks them naturally and never makes up an answer. Other languages are being tested in the pilot.

  • Area of law: conveyancing, family, wills and probate, employment, dispute
  • A one or two sentence outline

After the call

Get paid, and get the next job.

One tap on any job sends the right text in your business name. Replies come straight to you, and anyone can reply STOP. "On my way" and "ready" texts are live; scheduled reminders and quote chasing are switching on during the pilot.

Questions from legal businesses

Straight answers.

More in the main FAQ, or ask the chat.

Does it give any legal information at all?

No. It takes the details, says a solicitor will call back and when, and, if anyone is in danger, tells them to ring 999. That's all.

How does it help with conflict checks?

It always asks for the name of the other party (the landlord, employer, spouse or seller) and puts it in the summary, so your team can check before calling back.

What about client confidentiality?

Callers are told the call is recorded. Recordings and summaries are only visible to people in your account, and Hello Anytime never discusses one caller's matter with another.

Can it warn about payment fraud?

If a caller asks about sending money or changed bank details, it says a solicitor will confirm personally. It never gives or takes bank details.

Do I keep my number?

Yes. Customers keep ringing your usual number. You forward only the calls you miss to a Hello Anytime number we give you, which your customers never need to know.

When does Hello Anytime answer?

Your phone rings first. If you don't pick up within about 20 seconds, the call goes to Hello Anytime. On a mobile the divert code is **61*your Hello Anytime number**20#, and you can change the 20 to 5, 10, 15, 25 or 30 seconds. You can also send every call straight to Hello Anytime, for example at night, and switch it back with a short code.

What about a landline?

Mobiles use one short code. Landlines divert differently depending on your provider, and some (like BT) may charge for it. We'll help you set it up.
